Seikadai produced the tournament logo and key visual for the MUFG SV.LEAGUE ALL STAR GAMES 2024-25 ISHIKAWA WOMEN/MEN, which was held on January 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun), 2025 at the Tori Yasai Miso BLUECATS ARENA in Kahoku City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
●Request details / given requirements
We were commissioned to create the key visual and logo for the SV League's first-ever All-Star Game. In this project, we aimed to express the "regionality" of the event being held in Ishikawa Prefecture and the "premium feel" unique to the All-Star Game, while using the SV League's brand colors as a base.
●Implementation details / process
– Concept development and creation of the logo design
To express the "premium feel" of the All-Star Game, we proposed a design based on the SV League's existing logo and brand colors (gold, black, and white base).
We considered neutral designs that could be used every year, as well as simple designs with few elements, but ultimately, a design that incorporates the traditional crafts and culture of Ishikawa Prefecture, where the event is held, and evokes a sense of local identity was adopted.
– Concept planning and production of the key visual
Based on the SV League's brand colors, we considered a design that emphasizes the "premium feel" of the All-Star Game. Furthermore, we focused on incorporating "Ishikawa's unique characteristics" to reflect the SV League's potential contribution to Ishikawa Prefecture's recovery. We created multiple motifs inspired by tradition, food, and tourism resources.
Ultimately, a design incorporating motifs from traditional crafts such as Kaga Yuzen dyeing, Mizuhiki (decorative cords), and Kotoji Lanterns was adopted.
●Project Results: We received a positive response immediately after the release of the key visual. Ticket sales were strong, and the venue was almost full. The completed key visual and logo were used in various media, including the SV League's official website, social media, and decorations inside the match venue. Many customers were also seen taking photos in front of the photo spot set up at the venue, and we received high praise from both within and outside the SV League.
