Honeybee Ishikawa / SNS Management & Public Relations Support

We provide support for the social media operations and public relations activities of the women’s handball team “Honey Bee Ishikawa.” Our comprehensive responsibility includes designing, producing, and managing content across four platforms—Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube—with the aim of increasing brand awareness in League H, acquiring new fans, and encouraging attendance at home games.

●Request details / given requirements

We received a request to utilize social media not merely for disseminating information, but as a marketing strategy to enhance the club’s brand value, in order to increase club recognition, acquire new fans, and encourage attendance at home games. In addition, although they were already managing Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube accounts, they were facing challenges in clarifying the role and content of each platform and building an operational system that would lead to sustained results.

Therefore, Seikadai provided end-to-end support, from designing the SNS strategy to content planning, production, operation, and analysis, helping to build a public relations system that balances “communication that can be enjoyed by people who are not familiar with the sport” and “communication aimed at highly enthusiastic existing fans.”

●Implementation details / process

At Seikadai, we are dedicated to producing and managing social media accounts with the theme of conveying the team’s appeal not only through competition results, but also through “the players’ personalities,” “the passion of the matches,” and “the club’s story.” We position Honeybee Ishikawa’s social media not merely as a means of disseminating information, but as a “marketing tool to increase the number of club fans and the number of people attending matches,” and we provide end-to-end support from strategic design to production, operation, and analysis.

In terms of production, in addition to creating match highlights, vertical short videos, and various graphics, we continuously develop content planned by the players themselves. We are working to create an account that can be enjoyed not only by fans of the sport but also by people who are unfamiliar with handball. Furthermore, towards the end of the season, Seikadai’s creative team, including videographers and photographers, entered the venues to create content that impressively conveyed the tension of the players’ performances and behind-the-scenes moments.

Furthermore, we visualize the results of each post through monthly analysis reports, review KPIs, and propose improvements. We aim for continuous improvement by implementing the PDCA cycle based on data.

●Project results

Through approximately four months of hands-on support, Honeybee Ishikawa’s social media presence grew to become one of the largest in League H. On Instagram, they garnered over 2.2 million impressions per month, primarily through player-participatory content, and achieved the league’s highest number of followers. They also maintained their top position on Facebook, recording one of the league’s highest growth rates across all four platforms, including X and YouTube.
